There are a couple of cds that I wanted to let you in on.
Relient K - 5 Score and Seven Years Ago
The Christian band continues to grow musically without losing touch of what got them to where they are; catchy up-beat tunes with hooks worthy of deep sea fishing.
Great Lines: And here I sit in retrospect understanding that I misunderstood//thought I could make up your mind//You had a decision locked up so tight that it couldn't be touched
Teddy Bears - Soft Machine
Lots of big beats and head bobbin' pop spews from this disk. Whether it's a track featuring Ebbot Lundberg (The Soundtrack Of Our Lives) or Mad Cobra you just can't help but feel inspired by the urge to get up and move. This Swedish group is going to be making noise for a while.
Best Track: Punk Rocker (Featuing Iggy Pop)
Tokyo Police Club - A Lesson in Crime
Indie newbies make good. That about sums up TPC. A cross between The Strokes, The Hives, and The Shins anyone who enjoys tempo-altering, screeching power, and powerful groove should pick up a copy of this 7 track set.
Best Track: Cheer It On
