Yellowcard's new CD Paper Walls is great. There is one song called "Dear Bobbie," and it is probably the sweetest song that I've heard since Colin Ray's song "Love Me." The cd is soooo much better than their last.
Paolo Nutini's album is amazing. It's in the same vain as some later John Mayer stuff. Throw in a little Jack Johnson and a little Damien Rice with a dash of James Blunt and you get the idea. I saw him perform "What a Wonderful World" on the Live Earth broadcast and was immediately sold.
The new Sum 41 record "Underclass Hero" is pretty good. A bit slower than I expected. It's like they have taken the later stuff of Blink 182 and crossed it with Green Day's American Idiot. It doesn't rock out like their album "Chuck," but there are tons of catchy infectious tunes.
Get the new Lifehouse record.
Going to see The Honorary Title and The Format this Friday at the Daisy. I expect a great show. It will be my third time to see The Honorary Title. They are always great. 2nd time to see The Format. The last time I saw them they were playing with a lot of poppy acts and they didn't quite fit. This time, as headliners, they will be a little more in control. Meet us at the daisy if you'd like!
OUT!

Paolo Nutini i love. i love his voice. i watched him sing "What a Wonderful World" on you tube and i couldnt believe that was him. He was amazing he almost sounds like Louis Armstrong. That is one of Mikey's favorite songs. :)
