At Comic-Con yesterday the Abrams panel did confirm that Zachary Quinto, (Sylar on Heroes) is officially playing Spock in the new Trek movie. Nimoy will also appear as the older version his iconic character. I'm digging this casting news. I know most of you don't care.

Sylar looks the part. Nicely cast there. I can see him playing that vulcan emotionless thing well. Live long and prosper.
