This Aint A Scene It's An Arms Race

Boxing, Boxing, Boxing. What a sport. It's the only sport that flaunts its crookedness in front of the fans, but the fans still line up to see it because at any moment a train wreck could occur. And with that I present the Oscar De La Hoya/Floyd Mayweather business agreement. De La Hoya has long passed his prime. He's moved on to bigger, more lucrative things. Like owning his own promotion company with several other elite fighters. The only thing that could make him more money...a marquee fight with the best pound for pound fighter in the business. De La Hoya doesn't stand a chance...but his pockets will swell nonetheless. Fight fans forget the Oscar cares more about the bucks than the bang these days and they too easily recall the speedy, thunder fisted golden boy of yesteryear. This blindness to reality will likely make this this biggest pay-per-view boxing event in history. Let's get ready to rumble!

Simply put...My prediction is simple.

Mayweather in the 9th round by TKO.
