Each year I like to grade each of the finales, rank them, and then sit back and anticipate the next season. So I am getting that started today with a brief review of the 2 1/2 Men finale.
Never in my life have a seen a sitcom finale be more forced, boring, or lame. Seriously, I would rather have watched a documentary on the bowel movements of migrating birds.
There was only one funny joke in the entire episode and even that was only sort-of funny. Viagra jokes, bathroom humor, and rancid "mom is satan" jokes filled the half hour. The show left no cliffhangers and left me with no desire to come back to the show next fall.
Undoubtedly I will come back, because the show is usually pretty funny. But I cannot imagine what Chuck was thinking when he penned this episode. I guess he was more worried about his new show being picked up than about his cash cow on the eye network.
So, long story short, this show will not be making the best finale of 2007 list. And if it had been a top 10 show for 2007 overall (which it wasn't) it would have been knocked clean off the list after that stinker.

To be honest, I had no idea that it was even the season finale of this show. I agree with you that it pretty much sucked. I think I chuckled once.
